Debra Carson has been a healthcare leader in community care, mental health, and the hospital sector for more than 28 years. In her semi-retirement, she continues to provide consulting services, reflecting her lifelong commitment to improving the quality of care for patients.

In her most recent senior leadership role, Debra served as Executive Vice-President at Trillium Health Partners. Throughout her career, she has led teams focused on improving patient safety and developing innovative models to streamline patient access to care.

She earned a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and Master's Degree in Health Administration at University of Toronto

A resident of Mississauga for more than 40 years, Debra serves on the boards of several garden clubs dedicated to beautifying communities, including Mississauga.
